Inspired by André Rouveyre's 'Repli' published in 1947 by Éditions du Bélier (Paris) with illustrations by Henri Matisse, 'Montrose' includes an introduction by Pierre Rouveyre, a fictional character, and original photographs by the author A. J. Christopher of Montrose, an historic neighborhood in Houston, Texas in late 2021.
