The title says, "Early Life" and two thirds of the main text is about my family, childhood and teenage in the Rhondda, and my years in Cardiff University. There follows a brief account of our marriage in 1957, three years teaching in London, our return to Cardiff and the birth of Bron,in May 1962,when I became a full-time Mum, and the birth of Mabli in February 1964. We moved to Maidenhead in 1965 and Evan was born in April 1966. In 1970 we settled in Croydon and I taught part-time and attended art classes. Four years later,at the age of forty, I became a full-time etching and sculpture student in Croydon Art College.
