This book contains selected poems by Richard Steinhardt (1939-2014). Rick was a Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his scientific pursuits, he enjoyed flying airplanes, sailing, photography, art and literature. He was an avid reader but writing did not come easily to him as he was dyslexic. Writing grant applications was a chore but he set aside time throughout his life to write poetry.
