“Collection ONE”is a range of images taken in over 50 years of photography, chosen from those that are most dear to me. The word "ONE" implies that it is only a small portion of my favorites. Contrary to my previous series, up to now always monographic, in this volume I space from one extreme to the other of my multi-thematic and colorful photographic world. It is my habit to commit myself to the maximum in the care of editing and, as you immediately discover when opening this book,I have paid great attention to the choice of matchings, trying not to leave anything to chance.
The criterion underlying the combinations is deliberately not constant. Sometimes the pairs of images that appear together harmonize by affinity of tonality, while others, albeit distant, they are pieces that together compose a short story. Often the common denominator is evident, other times images live in a desired contrast, containing a message, an antagonism, a tale. I hope I have managed to offer a compendium which, although only partial, is representative of my work. A "Collection" that is pleasant to browse, enjoyable and useful for those who love the art of photography, as well as a book where photographers can find good ideas to increase their skills and creativity.
