    About the Book

    Edit

Ranging from odd, unsettling and painfully emotional on one page to fantastical and fun the next, the author uses a collection of poetry and prose to express her personal relationship with mythology and esoteric storytelling dealing with all manner of experiences and thoughts from friendship, romance and personal growth to the more confronting topics like substance abuse, complex trauma and sexual assault.

    Dona Lelliott
    Sydney, Australia

Dona Lelliott has spent many years in all manner of locations and contexts doing a multitude of different things for both work and play. Clearly, she's a woman of many talents. Of course, this is a nice way of saying that she's indecisive and has some form of issue with commitment. Yet somehow, someone saw it fit to sign a certificate saying that she's qualified to help people get their lives together, so that is what she aims to do with her day jobs. She has given up on trying to figure out how Mullings and Mindscapes became her first book (probably something to do with her lack of computer skills) and lives in (or more accurately, retrieves her mail from) her odd little house in Sydney where she keeps her parrots, tea plants, swords, books and dragons. Dona runs Credens Hall Home Apothecary where she sells home grown tea and herb blends at fantasy festivals and works as a "Consulting Apothecarist", combining psychology, medicinal plants, storytelling and philosophy.
