After morer than 25 years in the music business I decided to return to painting again in 1995. I spent the first half of my life in the Boston/Cambridge area of Massachusetts. I began studying art as a teenager at Harvard's Fogg Museum. As a college student I studied Art History at Northeastern University in Boston. During my college years I began to play in bands in the area and my music career took off. In my late 20's I moved to Southern California and began writing as well as playing music. My musical interests range from Jazz to Rock, New Age to Country. I even became involved in some of the early experiments with using sound as a healing tool with my good friend David Ison at M.I.T. in Cambridge in the 1980's. David later went on to start Therasound.com and has become very successful and well known in that field. In 1995 , while still maintaining a successful career in music, I began to paint again. It remains an important part of my creative life's work.
