This is a 12 x 12 inch fully illustrated, 230-page biography of artist Earl Vincent Boley. Although known in Northern California, Earl is lesser known outside that area.

This is also a love story and a story of family and travel. In the words of artist Robert Henri, “All art that is worthwhile is a record of an intense life” Earl lived an intense, art-filled life. There was art in everything he did including painting, cooking, gardening and travel. There is also bold intensity in other aspects of life. Earl moved his family to France for a year despite not knowing much more about the country than he wanted to be where the Impressionists painted; certainly not the language. Earl spent over 50+ years painting and learning everything he could about art. This is his story as told by his widow. It contains hundreds of photos, a small percentage of the thousands he left behind after his death in 2013.
