With a commitment to embodying the love and presence of Christ in the neighborhood, this book is a resource for individuals and communities with a similar heart and a longing for a place oriented practice of contemplative and communal prayer. Amending Soil offers an ecological metaphor for the role and purpose of prayer, simple instructions for various prayer forms and a compilation of liturgies, poems, meditations and images to be used by the community for common prayer.
