About the Book
Nature Walk is a book of verse and illustrations based on wildlife encounters and the sometimes quirky behaviour of birds, spiders, insects, crustaceans, marine life, snakes etc observed during regular photography shoots by the author. The inspiration for Nature Walk came from time spent observing creatures in their natural environment including coastal areas, rock pools, beaches, rivers, cliff tops, heathland, forested areas, suburban gardens and freshwater lakes on the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia, where the author lives and works.
Karin Taylor is a visual artist, writer and photographer who's illustration style has been described as quirky, playful, unique, nostalgic and vibrant. Karin's art is a true reflection of her affection for and affinity with wildlife.
