About the Book
In East Of Eden by Photographer Tanner Payne, Tanner explores the Ultraviolet and Infrared light waves unseen by the human eye to put on display the full range of the world we live in but cannot see by capturing the Full Spectrum of light.
The name “East Of Eden” is a reference to the story of Cain and Abel, After Cain kills his brother Abel in a jealous rage he is condemned to a lifetime wandering East Of Eden into the Land of Nod. Tanner Picked the name East Of Eden because the images show a beautiful and colourful version of our world but create a deep unsettling feeling or a sense of solitary loneliness.
