Jake an ex-Army Major, took his discharge from the Army fifteen months ago after his latest tour of Afghanistan. After 'getting lost' for a year in the Australian Outback to clear his head he accepts a job with Trojan-Sim Gold Corporation in the Tanami region of the Northern Territory, never realising this will place him right back in the action when he is called upon to assist the CIA to uncover a terrorist plot that will have catastrophic consequences if what they suspect is true, that terrorists may have recovered a Thermonuclear bomb that was jettisoned off the East Coast of America during a simulated combat mission between a B-47 carrying the bomb an an F-86 Fighter. Jake joins the race against time to find the missing CIA agent and the Nuclear Bomb.

Although winning a writing scholarship earlier in life the opportunity did not arise to fulfill this ambition until Val's mind was 'free' to concentrate on another creative outlet.
