About the Creator
I am a photographer by nature, graduating class of '11 with Canterbury Christ Church University. I focus on portraiture photography, mostly using medium format film (120) with my Mamiya RB67. Since 2012 I have taken on the art of sport photography, shooting anything from BMX to Surfing which is one of my great hobbies, as well as Snowboarding. I love the use of a good GoPro. More recently however, I have become a mother, and carer, my new born son was born with paralysed vocal cords and was trached at 3 weeks old, this book is about his story so far and hopefully raise some awareness about BVCP and what its like living the life of Paediatric Tracheostomies. Having a silent child is very hard, and being a carer of the tracheostomy is scary as lots of things can go wrong. Your whole life changes and nobody but other trach parents understand exactly what it involves. I hope this book reaches someone going through a similar time in their lives, or informs those who aren't. Perspective.
