This little gem of a book showcases the work of fine art photographer Debra Achen. "Frequency Shift: The Stonehenge Continuum" explores the vibrant energy she experienced while visiting Stonehenge. Achen considers the source of this energy to be aligned with the monument’s evolving continuum in history… a story that changes over time with the prevailing thought and scientific discoveries of each era. Her solarization process and multi-image pieces create a metaphor for our shifting, evolving perspectives. The book features 33 images, including diptychs, triptychs, and photo collages. Poetry by Christine Arturo, and quotes by Frances Mayes, Henry James, and physicist Carlo Rovelli augment the content and spirit of the photographs. This is Stonehenge in a new light.
