About the Book
104 year-old artist Sue Whitman’s consuming interest in fine art took her from advanced studies in her native Cleveland, Ohio, to New York’s Parsons and the Clarence White School of Photography. She managed art exhibitions at the public library in Westport, Connecticut.
Whitman has had solo exhibitions at the UCSD Faculty Club, Sherwood Square Gallery, and Underwater Explorers Club in the Bahamas, among many other institutions and galleries.
To be near her two children, she moved to La Jolla, CA. Whitman previously exhibited Visions of Discovery in 2018 and Gallery 336 in 2021 at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library.
