Bird Migration is one of the fascinating aspects of the avian world in the Mediterranean. Twice a year, billions of birds migrate vast distances across the sea. For them crossing into Africa, the Mediterranean constitutes a significant obstacle, along with climate change and environmental degradation.

Winged Migration tells a speculative, imaginary journey through designing ‘airports for birds’. The project aims to raise awareness of the relationship between human and nature by contributing to the conservation of migratory birds along their flyways.
