Now recognised as one of the most successful self-representing artists in the United Kingdom, Hannah Shergold’s recent rise in the art world has an extraordinary back story. Cambridge University graduate, sculptor, British Army Officer and Lynx helicopter pilot, Shergold has experienced an operational tour of Afghanistan and flown aircraft in Germany, Canada and Kenya during her 9 years of military service. She now applies her unique skill set to raising phenomenal sums of money for charity. By donating a proportion of her sales she has raised over £150,000 since she left the Forces in 2018, and her work has been bought by collectors across the world including in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Singapore. This book is Shergold’s first hardback catalogue, released in early 2021 following her third solo exhibition on London’s Pall Mall.
