The writings in this collection sat in binders in a
dark closet for years and served no purpose. So, I
decided to publish the writings with the hope that, as
a writer, I could give back; maybe some hope, maybe
some inspiration. They're out of the closet, out of the
dark, into the light.

Victor Vélez
Cincinnati, Ohio

Victor Vélez was born in Puerto Rico but raised in New York City; he started writing in the early 80s as a freelance writer. He studied Communication Arts at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. He is a movie lover, a photographer, and an active Salsa and Latin Jazz musician. Author of fifteen books, he teaches at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he currently lives.
