      About the Book

      Edit

Controversial journalist, as well as TV personality, Miles Straum wakes up to headlines that he's been accused of committing a crime at an office Christmas party which took place decades ago. Miles has absolutely no recollection of the crime and his initial reaction is to deny any wrongdoing; however, after more and more allegations come forward and a growing mob demanding justice starts to form outside Miles's apartment building, the public scrutiny intensifies and forces the Network to make a decision on what to do with their Number One talent.

Miles is convinced of his innocence and swears that he's not going down without a fight.

As pressure mounts, Miles's fate takes a turn for the worse and he's dealt with an opportunity to redeem himself, which will, once and for all, clear his name in order to win back America's trust; however, when Miles's plan suddenly backfires, he finds himself, not only on the run from the public, but also himself.

The final addition from Cut From Darkness reads like a punch to the gut, a no-holds-barred tale of scandal in a news-binging society where anything goes, and the desperate acts individuals will carry out in order to become famous.
