About the Book
Mega projects will always create a sense of excitement and trepidation when being considered as a proposition. They carry with them the hopes and aspirations of society, investors and the economy due to their scale and impact. However, they also raise concerns over their real benefits and whether the risk is worth taking?
‘Mega’ projects ($1 Billion Capital Value plus) offer the global community a unique set of challenges that push the social, technical, economic, and environmental boundaries to the limit. Most are unique in context, but all have an impact on the way they are perceived on the world’s stage when it comes to being seen as a success or failure.
