What can be said about a Porsche 911 Turbo that hasn’t already been said? Known around the world as the Widowmaker – in German, Witwenmacher – it’s a car that commands respect and has established itself as an icon within an iconic brand. Further separating this 930 from the rest is that it left the factory painted in the strikingly muted color Moonstone (rumored to be the only Turbo donning the color) . The color on this one of one 1979 930 is elusive and difficult to capture with the camera’s lens, but capturing the color is as rewarding as exiting a corner and feeling the rush of the turbo as boost builds and the distance between two points gets shorter.
