The spiritual path is not about leaving this world behind for another.
Nor is it about bending the world to your will. The path is about learning to see things as they are. It is about understanding the nature of things. By working from the inside, and understanding our own true nature, we begin to understand the nature of all of this. And when we do, we find that it is not about imposing our will on the world in order to get what we want. That is not necessary. It is about quieting down and seeing that what we want is already here.
When we get quiet we stop grabbing. We stop clinging. We stop pushing. We stop pulling. We see that it is not the world that is the problem, but instead it is the way in which the mind is relating to the world that is the trouble.
Get quiet and remember. Remember that you are a part of every single thing in this universe. Fall in love with all of it. Never forget that you are not only the wave,
but you are also the Ocean.
