This is the autobiography of fine artist, art teacher and psychotherapist, Allan O'Marra--from his childhood in the Ontario town of Bancroft; to his training at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto; and his years of creating art, working as a graphic designer; training then working as a psychotherapist; and more recently painting and teaching adult art classes in his original family home, the vintage schoolhouse in the Maxwell Settlement, Ontario (near Bancroft).

I am a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design University and the Transpersonal Therapy Centre, both located in Toronto, Canada. I work full-time as a fine artist from my home in a rural area near Bancroft, Ontario. I have had 50 solo art exhibitions and been involved in more than 120 group shows. I teach adult painting classes and art workshops. I have been meditating daily for the past twenty-five years and have attended a half dozen silent meditation retreats.
