David attended the University of Windsor and graduated with a BA Honours degree in Dramatic Arts In 1996. While there, he had many design and scenic art opportunities and worked as a designer for University Players after his graduation. After eight years working in Windsor, David attended Wayne State University to pursue his Masters of Fine Art degree in Scenic Design and is a graduate of the Hilberry Repertory Theatre Company in Detroit, Michigan. David was also accepted into The Month in Moscow programme. He completed his certificate in scenic design while attending the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia. David is currently the resident Scenic Designer and Artist and a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor. He teaches Scene Painting for the Theatre, Drawing for the Theatre, Rendering for the Theatre and Studies in Design. He also works as a freelance Scenic Designer. David is currently living in Lasalle, Ontario with his wife Shari and their son Evan.
