    About the Book

    Edit

In the past two decades, the interest of people in science has significantly declined. Many well-known scientists and I believe this phenomenon is due to a lack of exposure or a disassociation from science and the great inventions we enjoy today. In my humble opinion, science is the only way to understand the world around us and our only chance to an energy-efficient and spacefaring future. My goals are not to make a scientist out of every child that reads this series. Instead, I wish to bring the romanticism back to science by exposing our children to the magic, curiosity, and excitement of learning about the world around us. My biggest challenge was syphoning the essences of complicated concepts and recounting them into an easily digestible children’s book. I believe that I succeed in this series of science literature for children. This series will cover everything from physics to chemistry. It is designed with sections that build upon each other and slowly coalesce the children’s understanding of these subjects, ultimately facilitating their future studies. As a parent myself, I have always believed the limitations we set for our children are baseless. Parents, like me, are testing the limits of our children’s comprehension. We choose to let them tell us when we need to slow down or speed up. I encourage you to follow suit and enjoy when they surprise you.
