In 2016, when I was 7 years old I created 9 stories in 9 months about the adventures of my pet guinea pig - Chestnut. In December 2019 I launched a kickstarter campaign to raise over $4,000 to print my entire series of 8 Chestnut books and donate them to various libraries and schools to encourage others use their imagination and write their own stories. I thank my parents and my grade 2 teacher for encouraging me and making my dream of becoming a children's book author a reality. I am also thankful for the opportunities to share my stories with hundreds of kids over the past 5 years as a guest author and speaker. I hope to continue to inspire others to be creative and think big and show that you don't have to be an adult to write a children's book!
