My name is Michelle TenBrink. I am a native Michigander with a passion for farm to table cooking. I owned and operated a farm to table cafe and bakery, Elegance of the Seasons, with my mother for nearly 14 years. I am an advocate for "knowing where your food comes from," and my kitchen motto is "what grows together goes together." My hope is to inspire people to support local farms and teach farm to table cooking methods through my recipes. My cooking style is combining fresh seasonal ingredients with simple cooking techniques to create elegant dishes. I hope people use my books as a tool to create new dishes of their own as they build confidence to experiment with seasonal produce in their own kitchen.
