About the Book
Jessica Thompson is a primarily a portrait photographer who uses her camera as a tool to enhance the well-being of others. She uses her platform and industry knowledge as a voice for issues regarding gender, physical illnesses and mental health.
'Colour, Trauma and Me' is a photographic study on the relationship between trauma and colour. Using the negative and positive emotions associated with different colours, Thompson invited individuals to express the emotions felt during a time they considered 'Traumatic' using paint and a white T-shirt.
