Awakening the Fool is the result of my many years of immersion into several schools of religious thought and philosophy, both eastern and western, which had its humble beginnings in a course I taught more than 15 years ago called ‘The Fool’s Journey.’ This book fuses together my own personal transformative experiences and insights with western esoteric teachings and the time honored eastern philosophies and practices for spiritual awakening. I submit Awakening the Fool as an offering to the collective understanding of the Tarot, specifically as it relates to the journey of awakening.
