    The feathered art of the first nations of Amazonia, brings together in this book more than 110 objects represented by several Amerindian peoples in different forms such as headdresses, visors, necklaces, armbands, bracelets, ear pendants, belts, maracas, clubs and various ornaments with sumptuous colors such as the fiery red feathers caused by the “Tapiragé or Tapiré, this art of modifying the tint of the feathers when they regrow on parrots bred for this purpose.
    This book also invites you to discover or rediscover, among other things, the finesse of the work produced by the Ka’apors, a group of Tupi linguistic families from northeastern Brazil.
    The pieces gathered in this catalog were collected between the years 1915 and 1960, we will be able to see disappeared models of Current Amazon such as those of Waiwai and Kaxinawa while passing by the high Amazonia!
