William & Andrea Baker are the proud parents of Kelly Elizabeth Baker. They tragically lost their daughter in August of 2005 at the age of 19. Kelly was the light of their life and came to them through adoption at three weeks of age. In an attempt to create a memorial to their daughter, they created this book, a compilation of poems and thoughts expressed by Kelly during her short time with her family and friends. They share them with others who have lost a loved one in the hope that it will inspire others to channel grief into positive and uplifting areas of their life. It is important to always remember our children we have loved so dearly since their journey now lies beyond. William & Andrea have determined the connection to our children and Kelly is unending. "This project in Kelly's memory, is a labor of love and Kelly's spirit will live on in her poetry and writings as an inspiration to others."
