Vernon is passionate about helping children to have at least a brief distraction from the stress of their afflictions. He wants them to know that they are loved and that they are in our prayers. The wards and wings of children's hospitals are filling with our precious little ones that are fighting life-threatening battles at such a young age.

Vernon hopes that the books and puzzles he sends can help lend to that aforementioned distraction and helps their families as well as they look for words and gestures of comfort and strength.
