Ted and Dale, the authors/photographers still spend each winter in Alaska as caretakers on a floating fishing lodge. When not enjoying the beauty of the seals, otters, and other wildlife, they fill their days with drying, stacking, and restacking firewood for their woodstove.
Life is good!
