I am a fine artist with a passion for life and travel; I live by my senses and have a childlike view of a wonderful world; always trying to see the good, this may at times prove a challenge.
I enjoy lifting peoples spirits and making the world brighter; my work at the moment is about the connection between us, the earth, and animals: I have found the animal totems of the American Indian and Greek mythology particularly fascinating.
I immerse myself in my paintings; linking myself with the narrative; the physical act of painting gives me immense pleasure. I enjoy connecting the narrative of the painting with words; having written creative stories since early childhood. Puppetry is another area I am familiar with; a natural journey to take the stories and bring them to a wider audience; the paintings come to life! I have made puppets for several years; entertaining schools; fetes; churches; private parties, with performances and workshops. New work: collaborative puppets in the forest.
