About

Simona was born by the sea in the beautiful island of Sardinia, in Italy where she
studied photography at the European Institute of design in Cagliari.
In Venice she taught workshops of Fine Art Black and White Printing.
Simona has lived in Brooklyn (NY), working as a fine art, documentary and
journalistic photographer, since 1997.
She has taken portraits of personalities such as Kofy Annan, Luciano Pavarotti,
Hillary Clinton, Madelaine Albright , Sofia Loren and other celebrities.
Her photos have been exhibited in several spaces in Manhattan and Brooklyn,
Such as the White Box Gallery in Chelsea and in the very radical ABC No Rio
gallery in the Lower East Side.
She moved recently to London where she is currently working on different
projects .
Her Photography is strongly interrelated with her personal life.Her desire to get close to humanity is strong and necessary.
