About
Jason Kofi-Haye is a British-born artist of Caribbean and African heritage working across sound, moving image, text, and code. His practice operates through three interconnected frameworks, Project 5am (2007), Flux Without Pause (2014), and Surf/ace 間 (2018), which together form the basis of Post Instruction Literacy, a framework for reading how meaning forms under pressure.
His work has been commissioned by the Goethe-Institut, curated by WFMU, distributed through New Day Films, and used independently by practitioners and institutions across more than twenty countries, with no promotional activity from the artist. PIL was publicly released in March 2026.
