Multi international award winning photographer, CPL was NZ Surfing Magazine’s Senior Photographer for 15 years and its Editor’n’Chief for 8. CPL's images have been published and used commercially worldwide. Upon leaving NZSM Photo CPL Media was created.
The first book, aptly named Photo CPL, is a retrospective of Craig’s work over the last 20 years, and it has enjoyed both critical acclaim and commercial success. Hot on its heals; Beached As-Our New Zealand Beaches Vol 1 was released in 2009. The third book; Beached As- Then and Now stepped everything up a notch, Craig retraced the travels of his Auntie Audrey- reproducing her images from 70 years ago- Then and Now has been the most popular and universally lauded project to date.
Photography remains Craig’s burning passion, he uses both analogue and digital cameras- the right horse for the right course- but film rules.
