I've been a photographer since I received my first camera at age 7. I received a BFA Summa cum Laude in Photography from the University of Minnesota, and a MS degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I started out shooting only in Black & White film, which I sepia toned and then hand-tinted with photo oils. As I traveled to distant locations, I transitioned into digital color photography. I have worked with NGOs in Calcutta, India, and am working on an on-going project with the Ojibwe tribe of Native Americans in Minnesota. I'm currently working on images reflecting the angst and drama of 2020, which will be made into a book.
