Back in 1980, at the far-from-ripe age of 19, Mike Handley became the youngest newspaper editor in Alabama history. Now a retired magazine editor who's traded ink for acrylics, he has plenty of time to ponder new and offbeat ways to describe AND paint the mundane. He's accustomed to being called strange, but he's never once been deemed boring.
