About

Margaret Biggs is a painter whose use of line, color and form communicate
the healing and strength she finds in nature. Born in the Gulf South, her art
is influenced by the natural beauty that surrounds her.

An early career gave her the opportunity to live in Europe and New York
where she became familiar with the western artistic canon. Margaret later
studied under renowned artist Kerry James Marshall. She is influenced by
mid-20th century Realism and Expressionism.

Margaret found solace in nature to deal with life’s travails. She continues to
artistically convert her experiences to inspire others in their search for inner
peace.

Margaret’s imagery has been popular in the Evidence Based Healing Arts
Movement and can be found in medical facilities, hotels and businesses
nationwide. Her work was a part of the Arts in Embassies program and has
been featured in solo and group shows.
