Atomic is a video producer and publisher of 11 books and 16 DVDs on the Marx and other playsets and vintage plastic toys from the Atomic Era and Beyond. We specialize in Marx playsets - those boxed sets of cowboys and Fort Apache, or World War II Battlegrounds or Airports and so on, but we often cover a diverse range of other toys from MPC, Remco, Mattel Ideal and others. Our studio is in Colorado.

We report the fun and industrial history of atomic-age plastic toys and ephemera -- especially the era of the Louis Marx playset and all Marx, Ideal, MPC, Disney and many other's plastic output from WWII - 1980's. Marx was a major producer of baby boomer playsets and other toys.
