I have recently retired from a long career in the software industry focusing on solutions for engineers and designers of large physical infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, water and wastewater treatment facilities, etc.

Six years ago, my wife, for 35 years, passed away after an 18 month battle with cancer. Together, we have five children, each is married, and now there are 13 grandchildren.

This past year, I met a new partner, Liz Fisher, and we are getting married June 24, 2017. As a pre-wedding honeymoon, Liz and I traveled to New Zealand for the months of March and April, 2017 to hike each of New Zealand's Nine Great Walks.
