Born March 17, 1960 to Paul and ArJean Lamoreaux of pioneer stock. Ancestors came to Utah by handcart and covered wagon. Oldest of five children, three boys, two girls. Married Andy Perry, electrical engineer and have two sons Nathan Robert and Joseph Lowe Cowlishaw.Nathan is a photographer, poet, cowboy tour guide to the national parks in southern Utah. Joseph is married to Christina Manning and lives in Mesa, Az where he is pursuing a civil engineering degree at Arizona State University. Laurie has a degree in English/Theater from the University of Utah, and a teaching certificate from Southern Utah University with elementary and secondary endorsements. She currently teaches at a Montessori charter school a mixed age group grades 1-3. She enjoys running her two pointer/heeler dogs, farming at Summit, and hiking.
