Kenny Ardouin is fairly involved in the Christchurch and wider New Zealand community. His portfolios include being a representative to community organisations such as Cleft New Zealand and Volcano Radio. Prior to June 2011, Kenny was a breakfast radio host on Canterbury's 88.5FM Volcano Radio, hosting the 'Seismic Shift' programme. He continued this after the devastating earthquake of 22 February 2011, which was popular amongst the Lyttelton and wider community and interviewed many people such as councillors, the Earthquake Commission and even the Prime Minister. Sadly, when the devastating earthquake of 13 June 2011 struck, it rendered the Volcano Radio building unusable. Kenny intends to get back into radio in the near future.
