About

Photographer JuanCarlos González is based in Plymouth, Vermont with his husband (Greg) and their black labrador (PoPo). JuanCarlos was raised in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, where he grew up eager to explore the world, but did not have the resources to do so. Pictures in magazines and in the Sunday paper inspired him with a sense of beauty, wonder and curiosity. Over the years, he's been fortunate to travel extensively and to photograph some of the most beautiful and striking places on earth, the same places that inspired him as a child. He has to thank the kindness and generosity of the many people who have supported him along the way for helping create these memories. His work has been featured in various publications, including National Geographic, National Geographic Travel UK, VOGUE Italia, LFI (Leica Fotografie International), Boston Globe, Vermont State Parks and many more.
