When I was a little girl, I dreamt of being a music teacher, whereas the other girls wanted to be a princess or a pop star. I was never really one of the “normal” kids growing up. No one chose to play with me, sit with me a lunch, run with me in gym class, or be my friend. Even now in high school, it’s still the same. But, when I found the saxophone my life changed. I would be the Bari in the jazz band and the Bari in the top band, and a self published author. My teachers didn’t see that coming that’s for sure.
