Cedric Angeles was born in the Philippines. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1986. After High School, he worked in films, commercials and music videos, eventually deciding to focus on photography. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California and graduated in 1999. In 2000, PDN named him as one of 30 Under 30 Young Photographers to Watch. He is a regular contributor to a variety of clients that includes Travel+Leisure Magazine, STERN, Conde Nast British Traveller, GQ, Glamour, Bon Appetit, Food + Wine, GEO Saison, Vogue, Departures, Gourmet, Men’s Journal, Absolute, British Airways, Time Inc, among others. His interest is in telling stories, the power of multiple photographs. He approaches photography in the spirit of a documentarian. He is also the Co-Owner/Director of AMMO, a gallery located in the French Quarter of New Orleans that represents emerging and established contemporary artists. He splits his time between NY and New Orleans.
