About

Beth Swann is a writer, editor, and high school journalism and creative writing teacher at Nation Ford High School. She is the faculty adviser to the award-winning Voices literary magazine and the nationally recognized student newspaper, The Talon. Her Intro to Journalism students produce Red&Black news magazine. Beth earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Queens University of Charlotte, and she is a Certified Journalism Educator. Her poetry, nonfiction, and fiction have been featured in numerous publications, including Southern Poetry Review, storySouth, Atlanta Review, and Chicago Tribune.
