About

Prior to founding AWA in 1994, Ana worked with Alvaro Siza Vieira in Porto, Portugal (1992 Pritzker Laureate), and with Michael Graves Architect in Princeton, New Jersey (2001 Gold Medal of the AIA). These experiences with two of the world’s most influential architects played a defining role in cementing Ana’s passion for modern design, while developing her thorough understanding and respect for classical traditions.

She earned her Masters Degree in Architecture at Princeton University, and her Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida. She was born in Bogota, Colombia, and gained her first exposure to architecture from her uncle Vicente Nasi, an Italian born, South American architect contemporary of Le Corbusier.

Her practice in Menlo Park CA has focused on residential projects that reflect her passion for a truly successful architectural process, fulfilling the requirements of its customers with a balance of design, sustainability, and thoughtful execution.
