Alan has been photographing the world around since the 1970's. Alan has broad photographic interest and shoots mainly candid shots, but sometimes loses himself in a landscape.

In his candid photographs, Alan is exploring the relationship between people and place. Alan hopes to evoke emotions, ideas and thought in his viewers. Alan retired at the end of 2015 and is enjoying developing his photographic language whilst being a very bust grandparent.
