Kevin Colton has been a self taught professional photographer for over 30 years. Living in the Finger Lakes area of Upstate, New York a few miles from the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge as well as the Adirondack Mountains has given him the inspiration to capture natures beauty and share these images with others that appreciate these beautiful landscapes.
In 2010 photographer he won the Silver Award in the category of "Photographer of the Year" in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2010 Circle of Excellence Awards. Forty-four entries were judged in this competition and Colton was one of only three photographers in the country to receive silver awards. Ten of Colton's photos were submitted for consideration, representing a range of settings and interactions including sporting events, science research, student-faculty interaction, the natural beauty of the campus, and the life of Hobart and William Smith students.
